These terms are effective 26 March 2017

Introduction. Welcome to www.myrecruitagent.com or .coza ("My Recruit Agent"). These Terms of Use, the Rules for Posting, the Privacy Notice, the Mobile Devices Terms and all policies posted on our site set out the terms on which we offer you access to and use of our site, services, applications and tools (collectively “Services”).

All policies, the Mobile Devices Terms, and the Privacy Policy are incorporated into these Terms of Use. You agree to comply with all the above when accessing or using our Services. By accessing the Services, you are agreeing to the following terms, which are designed to make sure that the Services work for everyone. Should you not agree to these terms, or any update or change thereto as dealt with below, you should not access or use My Recruit Agent. You affirm that you are either 18 years of age or older, or possess the necessary consents to agree to these terms.

My Recruit Agent is provided to you by Arista Artisan (Pty) Ltd, also referred to below as "My Recruit Agent".com or .coza. This policy is effective 26 March 2017. 

Using My Recruit Agent. As a condition of your use of My Recruit Agent you, agree that you will not:

  •     violate any applicable laws including but not limited to consumer protection, data protection and intellectual property laws (including their regulations and guidelines);

  •     violate any applicable posting rules;

  •     post listings that do not show clear, truthful, verifiable, complete and unambiguous information regarding your contact details, the goods, price, delivery and any additional charge;

  •     post any threatening, abusive, defamatory, pornographic, obscene, unconstitutional or indecent material;

  •     use the Services in any manner that could impair any of our websites or applications in any way or interfere with any party’s use or enjoyment of any such site or application;

  •     post any material that is harmful to, harms or could harm minors in any way;

  •     be false or misleading or employ false or misleading advertising practices;

  •     infringe any third-party right;

  •     distribute or contain spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes;

  •     distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm My Recruit Agent or the interests or property of My Recruit Agent users;

  •     impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interfere with the proper working of My Recruit Agent;

  •     copy, modify, or distribute any other person's content without their consent;

  •     use any robot spider, scraper or other automated means to access My Recruit Agent and collect content for any purpose without our express written permission;

  •     harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent or otherwise violate the privacy of another person;

  •     use the information available in My Recruit Agent to contact the users or the advertisers for any purpose other than for the use of the Services;

  •     bypass measures used to prevent or restrict access to My Recruit Agent.

You are solely responsible for all information that you submit to My Recruit Agent and any consequences that may result from your post. We reserve the right for any or no reason, at our discretion to refuse or delete or take-down content that (or any part thereof) we believe is inappropriate or breaching the above terms. We may, at our discretion, remove ads, put ads on hold or make minor changes thereto, when they do not comply with the Posting Rules. We also reserve the right at our discretion to restrict a user's usage of the site either temporarily or permanently, or refuse a user's registration.

Abusing My Recruit Agent. My Recruit Agent and the My Recruit Agent community work together to keep the site working properly and the community safe. Please report problems, offensive content and policy breaches to us using the reporting system.

Without limiting other remedies, we may issue warnings, limit or terminate our service, remove hosted content exercise our discretion when ads do not comply with our policies, and take technical and legal steps to keep users off My Recruit Agent if we think that they are creating problems or acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of our policies. However, whether we decide to take any of these steps, remove hosted content, exercise our discretion when ads do not comply with our policies, or keep a user off My Recruit Agent or not, we do not accept any liability for monitoring My Recruit Agent or for unauthorized or unlawful content on My Recruit Agent or use of My Recruit Agent by users. You also recognize and accept that My Recruit Agent is not under any obligation to monitor any data or content which is submitted to or available on the site.

Global Marketplace. Some of My Recruit Agent's features may display your ad on other sites that are part of the global eBay community, like on eBay or our classifieds sites in other countries. By using My Recruit Agent, you agree that your ads can be displayed on these other sites. The terms for our other sites are similar to these terms, but you may be subject to additional laws or other restrictions in the countries where your ad is posted. When you choose to post your ad on another site, you may be responsible for ensuring that it does not violate our other site policies. We may remove your ad if it is reported on any our sites, or if we believe it causes problems or violates any law or policy.

Fees and Services. Using My Recruit Agent is generally free, but we sometimes charge a fee for certain services. If the service you use incurs a fee, you'll be able to review and accept that charge and any additional terms and conditions applicable, including forms of payment, to the service at the time of purchase. This will be clearly disclosed at the time you post your ad. Our fees are quoted in South African Rand, and we may change them from time to time. We'll notify you of changes to our fee policy by posting such changes on the site. We may choose to temporarily change our fees for promotional events or new services; these changes are effective when we announce the promotional event or new service.

Our fees are non-refundable, and you are responsible for paying them when they're due. If you don't, we may limit your ability to use the services. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect fees owed using other permissible collection mechanisms.

Content. My Recruit Agent contains content from us, you, and other users. My Recruit Agent is protected by copyright laws and international treaties. Content displayed on or via My Recruit Agent is protected as a collective work and/or compilation, pursuant to copyrights laws and international conventions. You agree not to copy, distribute or modify content from My Recruit Agent without our express written consent. You may not disassemble or decompile, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to discover any source code contained in My Recruit Agent. Without limiting the foregoing, you agree not to reproduce, copy, sell, resell, or exploit for any purposes any aspect of My Recruit Agent (other than your own content).

When providing us with content or causing content to be posted using our Services, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable (through multiple tiers) license to exercise any and all copyright, publicity, trademark, and database rights and other intellectual property rights you have in the content, in any media known now or developed in the future. This means that we are entitled to host, cache, route, transmit, store, copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, syndicate, publish, translate, use, publicly perform, publicly display, reformat, modify, edit, excerpt, analyze, and create algorithms and derivative works from you content, or otherwise use such content. Further, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, you waive your moral rights and agree not to assert such rights or any other intellectual property or publicity rights against us, our sub-licensees, or our assignees.

You represent and warrant that none of the following infringe the license (or any part thereof) granted to us in the preceding paragraph: your provision of content to us, your causing content to be posted using the Services, and use of any such content (including of works derived from it) by us, our users, or others in contract with us that is done in connection with the Services and in compliance with the My Recruit Agent Terms of Use.

Infringement. Do not post content that infringes the rights of third parties, this includes, but is not limited to, content that infringes on intellectual property rights such as copyright, design and trademark (e.g. offering counterfeit items for sale). A large number of very varied products are offered on My Recruit Agent by private individuals in South Africa. Entitled parties, in particular the owners of copyright, trademark rights or other rights owned by third parties can report any offers which many infringe on their rights, and submit a request for this offer to be removed. If a legal representative of the entitled party reports this to us in the correct manner, products infringing on the intellectual property rights will be removed by My Recruit Agent.

Reporting an infringement:

In order to participate in the Notice of Infringement Programme, you only need to complete a Notice of Infringement Form and fax it to My Recruit Agent. You can use this form, complete with your signature, to report advertisements which may infringe on your property rights. The information requested in the Notice of Infringement Form is for the purpose of ensuring that the parties reporting these objects are either the entitled party or their officially authorized representative. This information must also enable My Recruit Agent to identify the advertisement to be removed. Once we have received your correctly completed Notice of Infringement Form, you can simply send later reports to My Recruit Agent via the e-mail address provided.

Note: This form can only be used by the lawful owners of the intellectual property rights. "Notice of Infringement" is intended to ensure that products offered do not infringe the copyright, trademark right or other intellectual property rights of third parties.

Liability. My Recruit Agent does not act as a supplier as contemplated in the Consumer Protection Act, or otherwise, and is not the party marketing the goods/services. My Recruit Agent only provides the platform.

As explained above, we do not actively monitor data or content. We are not involved in the actual transactions between users.
My Recruit Agent does not operate as a payment intermediary, payment processor, payment facilitator, money transmitter, money services business, or any type of business akin thereto for the purposes of, or in connection with, any transaction on the site. My Recruit Agent also does not fulfil any of the functions (whether as a whole or in part), of a payment intermediary, payment processor, payment facilitator, money transmitter, money services business, or any type of business akin thereto, whether in a direct or indirect manner.
As most of the content on My Recruit Agent comes from other users, we do not guarantee or give any warranty or make any representation as to the accuracy and content of postings or user communications or the quality, safety, or legality of what's offered, or with regard to the legal capacity of the users that may conduct or complete any transaction.
You agree not to hold us responsible for things other users post or do.

In no event do we accept liability of any description for the posting of any unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene or indecent information, or material of any kind which violates or infringes upon the rights of any other person, including without limitation any transmissions constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law.

My Recruit Agent may promote, endorse and/or contain links to third party sites and/or services and/or goods. These sites, services and and/or goods are beyond the control of My Recruit Agent. My Recruit Agent is not involved in transactions between users and the operators of such third-party sites. My Recruit Agent does not accept responsibility for their content, services and/or products.

We cannot guarantee continuous, error-free or secure access to our services or that defects in the service will be corrected.

While we will use reasonable efforts to maintain an uninterrupted service, we cannot guarantee this and we do not give any promises or warranties (whether express or implied) about the availability of our services.

Accordingly, to the extent legally permitted we expressly disclaim all warranties, representations and conditions, express or implied, including those of quality, merchantability, merchantable quality, durability, fitness for a particular purpose and those arising by statute. We are not liable for any loss, whether of money (including profit), goodwill, or reputation, or any special, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of your use of My Recruit Agent, even if you advise us or we could reasonably foresee the possibility of any such damage occurring. Some jurisdictions do not allow the disclaimer of warranties or exclusion of damages, so such disclaimers and exclusions may not apply to you.

Despite the previous paragraph, if we are found to be liable, our liability to you or any third party (whether in contract, delict, negligence, strict liability in delict, by statute or otherwise) is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you pay to us in the 12 months prior to the action giving rise to liability, and (b) 100 South African Rand.

Nothing in these terms shall limit our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or the negligence of our agents or employees.

Personal Information. By using My Recruit Agent, you agree that you are giving your voluntary and informed consent to the collection, transfer, storage and use of your personal information by My Recruit Agent on servers located in the European Union, United States and other locations, and for such purposes, as further described in our Privacy Policy. You also agree that you are giving your voluntary and informed consent to receive marketing communications from us unless you tell us that you prefer not receive such communications.

Security. In order to ensure the security and reliable operation of the site for all users, My Recruit Agent reserves the right at its discretion to take whatever action it finds necessary to preserve the security, integrity and reliability of its network and back-office applications. Any user who commits any of the offences detailed in Chapter 13 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (specifically sections 85 to 88 (inclusive)) shall, notwithstanding criminal prosecution, be liable for all resulting liability, loss or damages suffered and/or incurred by My Recruit Agent and its affiliates, agents and/or partners.

Resolution of disputes

If a dispute arises between you and My Recruit Agent, we strongly encourage you to first contact us directly to seek a resolution by going to the My Recruit Agent Help page. We will consider reasonable requests to resolve the dispute through alternative dispute resolution procedures, such as mediation or arbitration, as alternatives to litigation.

Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy of this software and associated documentation files (the "Software"), to deal in the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, and to permit persons to whom the Software is furnished to do so, subject to the following conditions: The above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

General. These terms and the other policies posted on My Recruit Agent constitute the entire agreement between My Recruit Agent and you, superseding any prior agreements.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this Agreement shall be governed and construed in all respects by the laws of the Republic of South-Africa. You agree that any claim or dispute you may have against My Recruit Agent must be resolved by the courts in the Republic of South Africa.

If we don't enforce any particular provision, we are not waiving our right to do so later. If a court strikes down any of these terms, the remaining terms will survive. We may automatically assign this agreement in our sole discretion in accordance with the notice provision below.

Except for notices relating to illegal or infringing content, your notices to us must emailed to us info@jartrade.co.za.We will send notices to you via the email address you provide, or by registered mail. Notices sent by registered mail will be deemed received five days following the date of mailing.

We may update this agreement at any time, with changes taking effect when you next post or 30 days after we post the updated policy on the site, whichever is sooner. No other amendment to this agreement will be effective unless made in writing, signed by users and by us.

Mobile Devices Terms
If you're accessing My Recruit Agent Services from a mobile device using a My Recruit Agent Mobile Application (the "Application"), the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Use") apply to you in addition to the applicable Mobile Privacy and Legal Notice or End User License Agreement, as the case may be. Your use of the Application confirms your agreement to these Terms of Use.

Application Use. My Recruit Agent grants you the right to use the Application only for your personal use. You must comply with all applicable laws and third party terms of agreement when using the Application (e.g. your data service agreement). The Application may not contain the same functionality available on the www.My Recruit Agent.co.za website. Your download and use of the Application is at your own discretion and risk, and you are solely responsible for any damages to your hardware device(s) or loss of data that result from the download or use of the Application.

Intellectual Property – Applications. My Recruit Agent owns, or is the licensee to, all right, title, and interest in and to its Applications, including all rights under patent, copyright, trade secret, trademark, and any and all other proprietary rights, including all applications, renewals, extensions, and restorations thereof. You will not modify, adapt, translate, prepare derivative works from, decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from any Application and you will not remove, obscure, or alter My Recruit Agent's copyright notice, trademarks or other proprietary rights notices affixed to, contained within, or accessed in conjunction with or by any My Recruit Agent Application.

Prohibited Countries Policy and Foreign Trade Regulation - Applications. My Recruit Agent Applications or their underlying technology may not be downloaded to or exported or re-exported: (a) into (or to a resident or national of) Burma (Myanmar), Cuba, Iraq, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, or any other country subject to United States embargo; (b) to anyone on the US Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals or on the US Commerce Department's Denied Party or Entity List; and (c) to any prohibited country, person, end-user, or entity specified by US Export Laws. When using a My Recruit Agent Application, you are responsible for complying with trade regulations and both foreign and domestic laws (e.g., you are not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo, or that has been designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties).

Additional Terms. Additional terms and conditions that apply to you based on the mobile device the Application is installed on:

iOS – Apple

  1.     These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and My Recruit Agent, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Application and the content thereof.

  2.     My Recruit Agent grants you the right to use the Application only on an iOS product that you own or control and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the App Store Terms of Service.

  3.     Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Application.

  4.     Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third party intellectual property infringement claim.

  5.     Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Application or your possession and/or use of the Application, including but not limited to: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.

  6.     In the event of any failure of the Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if applicable, for the Application to you; and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Application.

  7.     Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these Terms of Use, and, upon your acceptance, Apple as a third-party beneficiary thereof will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms of Use against you.

Windows - Microsoft

  1.     These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and My Recruit Agent, not Microsoft. The terms of use and privacy policies of Microsoft and, where applicable, the network operators that provide billing Services for the Windows Phone Marketplace, do not apply to your use of the Application.

  2.     You may install and use one (1) copy of the Application on up to five (5) devices you personally own or control and which are affiliated with the Windows Live ID associated with your Windows Marketplace account. You may not install or use a copy of the Application on a device you do not own or control.

  3.     Microsoft, your device manufacturer, and (if applicable) your carrier are not responsible for providing support Services for the Application.

  4.     Microsoft, the carriers over whose network the Application is distributed (if applicable), and each of their respective affiliates and suppliers (collectively, "Disclaiming Distributors") give no express warranty, guarantee, or conditions under or in relation to the Application. To the extent permitted under your local laws, the Disclaiming Distributors exclude any implied warranties or conditions, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

  5.     You, and not the Disclaiming Distributors, bear the risk of using the Application (even if the Disclaiming Distributors have been advised of the possibility of damages to you). You may have additional consumer rights under your local laws which these Terms of Use cannot change.

  6.     To the extent not prohibited by law, you will not seek to recover any consequential, lost profit, special, indirect, or incidental damages from any Disclaiming Distributor.

Posting a domestic worker advert on My Recruit Agent

At My Recruit Agent, anyone in our community can post an advert looking for help around the home, albeit a domestic worker, tutor or driver. However, it is vitally important for both employers and job seekers to understand the relevant labour laws before advertising or responding to a position.

For example:

Domestic workers should work no more than 45 hours a week, 9 hours a day (for a 5-day week) or 8 hours a day if they work more than five days a week, with no more than 15 hours a week overtime or more than 3 hours on any given day. They should receive double pay on Sundays and public holidays.

Employers may deduct 10% from their salary for accommodation, providing that that accommodation complies with the minimum standards as set out by the Domestic Workers’ Act. Domestic workers are entitled to sick leave, severance pay and maternity leave. Employers are also required to register their domestic workers for UIF if employed to work for a collective 24 hours in a month. Employers may not keep their workers’ identity documents or passports.

It is also very important to have an employment contract in place. Employers can download a sample contract for free on the Department of Labour site here.

We encourage all employers to familiarize themselves with the Act (and recent changes to minimum wage requirements) before advertising a position on our site, or any other job site.

Job seekers should also follow our tips for safely applying for a position:

  • Know your rights with regards to minimum wage, leave and overtime. Visit labour.gov.za or your nearest Department of Labour if you have any questions about a position.

  • Insist on a contract and UIF registration. This will protect you in the event of a dispute or retrenchment. Free sample contracts can be downloaded from the Department of Labour website.

  • Do not accept a position that offers a fee lower than minimum wage. There are plenty of legitimate employers that are compliant with the law and willing to pay the correct amount.

  • Always inform a friend or family member where you will be when attending a job interview at a private home. If possible, take someone along with you.

  • Do not provide credit card details, make payment for a position or interview or hand over important documentation such as your ID or passport to an employer. If required for background checks, your employer may be entitled to a certified copy of your ID document or work permit, but they may not hold the originals.

What are the Jobs policies?



  • Each job posting must advertise an individual (one vacancy only) and specific position.

  • Generic postings advertising multiple vacancies or employment services are not allowed.

  • Each ad should state salary, location and detailed position description.

  • Agencies must clearly identify themselves, they may not use this category as a platform to promote their business.

  • We want to make sure that the job offers posted on My Recruit Agent are legitimate. If you post an offer for formal employment using general email addresses, such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc., your ad may be removed by our moderation team. - If you're posting as a private individual looking to hire some house help or a nanny - don't worry, you can still post the ad with your personal email address. If for any reasons you feel that we should make an exception - please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help you with tips on how to be successful with your ad.

  • We do not accept postings which require candidates to send money or stamped addressed envelopes to gain further details of the positions.

  • We do not accept "multi-level marketing (MLM)" jobs.

  • We do not accept postings that advertise pyramid selling, or multi-level marketing schemes.

  • We do not accept job adverts for cash in hand work.

  • We do not accept postings that contain links to other websites that offer the user job posting facilities.

  • Job postings should be placed in the category which most closely relates to the actual nature of the vacancy rather than the nature of the employer or industry. If you are unsure post in the 'General Jobs' category

  • We ask that all fields in the Job Posting Form be filled out correctly.

  • We do not accept postings that advertise for models or actors (either male or female) using generic (Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, etc) email accounts and/or mobile phone numbers. These posters must include a registered agency email address and land line phone number.

  • We do not accept adverts for Escort/Adult industry work.

  • We do not accept job adverts for medical trials of any kind.

  • We don’t permit ads for jobs outside of South Africa. - The exception to this is South African agencies offering work for flight attendants or on cruise ships. Training for these jobs must take place in South Africa. The ads must state a local street address and phone number, a website and as much information about the positions as possible.

  • All "work from home" job offers must be posted using a business domain while also meeting all other job policy requirements.

  • We do not allow vacancies offered by companies and staffing agencies located outside of South Africa. Jobs offers taking place overseas must be remunerated in South African Rands and employment contracts must be signed at a local branch. The ads must state a local street address, valid phone number, a website and as much information about the positions as possible to be compliant

We reserve the right to remove ads without refund where these breach our posting rules and/or our My Recruit Agent Terms of Use.
It is the responsibility of the advertiser before posting an ad on My Recruit Agent that content advertised adheres to My Recruit Agent Posting Policies (What are the General posting rules?) as well as applicable laws. As a condition of your use of My Recruit Agent specified under our My Recruit Agent Terms of Use, you agree that you will not violate any laws.






Why am I being prompted to pay for my ad


We do understand, however, that there are plenty of businesses (particularly recruitment agencies & large firms) who may regularly require a large number of listings at any given moment on My Recruit Agent. We allow you to list 25 vacancies a day, if prompted to pay this will be of your choosing ie to bump up your ad etc to gain more visibility or a banner ad. as previously stated this is entirely optional it is still free and always will be to post a vacancies or want ad.

How many Ads can I post on My Recruit Agent?


You can post a limit of 25 unique Ads on My Recruit Agent each day. Unique means that the Ads are substantially different from each other. Please do not post the same Ad over and over again. This restriction is in place to prevent users from "spamming" the site. If you would like to post more than the allowed Ads per day, please contact us by clicking on the "Contact My Recruit Agent" link located at the bottom of our help pages.





Can I post my ad on multiple My Recruit Agent sites?


You should only post your ad on the My Recruit Agent site that's nearest to you or the product or service you're offering. If you post in multiple locations, your ads will be removed.

People that are willing to travel will search other My Recruit Agent sites to find your ad.


My Ad was deleted. Will my fees be reimbursed?


In accordance with the My Recruit Agent Terms of Use of the site, the fees for Highlight are non-refundable unless the ad was deleted by My Recruit Agent for violating site Policies (What are the General posting rules?)

As a condition of your use of My Recruit Agent you agree that you are older than 18 years of age.

At My Recruit Agent we want to make sure that the site is as clean, friendly and usable as possible for everyone. Ads that fall outside the posting rules stated in this Help section or our My Recruit Agent Terms of Use may be removed from the site.

You are solely responsible for all information that you submit to My Recruit Agent and any consequences that may result from your post.

We reserve the right at our discretion to refuse or remove content, or those parts thereof, that we believe is inappropriate or breaching our terms of use. We may, at our discretion, remove ads, put ads on hold or make minor changes thereto, when they do not comply with the Posting Policies.

General reasons for ad removal, ads being placed on hold, or minor changes made:

  • Against policy

  • Offering postage. My Recruit Agent should only be used in face to face local transactions - Ads should be posted onto your local site

  • Removal of personal information in an ad

  • Duplicate of another ad posted by you, or several ads placed by you for the same goods or services, or multiple ads in different locations

  • Posted under wrong category (You must choose the single most relevant category for your ad)

  • Not entering your contact details through the means provided by the sites (for example as part of an overlay, logo or watermark)

  • Entering information in incorrect fields (you must use the fields provided), or not completing all the fields

  • We only accept ads in English (Foreign translation may be included below if appropriate)

  • No overseas ads accepted, My Recruit Agent is only for local community or local businesses

  • No website links to other property / job / classified or auction sites, and such other sites as we may deem to be inappropriate

  • Removal of keywords that refer to competitive websites, or removal of brands in the case of keyword stuffing, i.e. brands that are not accurately descriptive of the item (e.g. if you tag “Toyota,” “Nissan,” and “Volkswagen” to describe a Volkswagen car for sale, then we will remove “Toyota” and “Nissan”)

  • Not descriptive enough (Ads that do not provide enough detail will be removed as this makes for a bad browsing experience)

  • Appears to be a copy of another ad posted on My Recruit Agent (You may not copy other user ads; your ad must be original)

  • “Looking for” ads (unless it is in the Pets for Adoption, Services for Pets or Lost and Found categories)

  • Strong call to actions in titles (Call me now!)

  • Re-ordering images to make first one more appealing for user browsing

  • Not providing images of the goods at the time of listing when expressly requested to do so

  • Images which are unsuitable for the purpose (for example which are too small, drawings, word art, etc.)

  • Edit Typos, Edit/Remove duplicate keywords

  • Inappropriate language

  • Inappropriate photo / image

  • Discriminatory on race / religion / nationality

  • Selling or offering services for supplements/medicine general or pharmaceutical

  • Selling body parts / bodily fluids, adoption or surrogacy anywhere on the site

  • Ads that report other fraudulent ads. Please report potentially fraudulent ads via the "report ad" option located within each ad or Contact Us with ad details (ad id, email address)

My Recruit Agent reserves the right to remove any postings that we feel are not relevant, or of value to the My Recruit Agent community, with or without notice.

There are several reasons why an Ad may have been removed from the site including:

When this happens your ad may be temporarily suspended (this depends on a few things) until we look at it. We check reported ads as quickly as we can. As long as we find that it hasn't broken any Posting Policies (What are the General posting rules?) or My Recruit Agent Terms of Use it should be back up again shortly. Check back after a few hours to see if this is the case.

Ads either reported to us (Reporting ads) or identified by our automated tools as inappropriate, that we then find do break our Posting Policies or Terms of Use, will be removed from the site.

In most cases we email you to let you know that we have had to remove your ad (and if possible provide you with an opportunity to resubmit). These emails sometimes get directed to junk folders so please look out for My Recruit Agent emails. If your junk / spam settings are set at high, then My Recruit Agent emails may not even be delivered to the spam / junk folder. You may wish to add My Recruit Agent to your safe senders list if you have one.

Your ad has been reported (Reporting ads) to us.
Your ad has been removed.
